Blue Flavor is happy to sponsor Idea Day, a monthly meeting of creative minds here in Seattle.
Idea Day is always held on the second Tuesday of the month, the next one being November 8th. Each month, speakers are invited to come and speak about a topic relevant to the creative community.
This month Josh Petersen, CEO of the Robot Co-Op, makers of the hugely successful 43 Things will be speaking to us about “What Ben Franklin can teach us about web 2.0.”
If you haven’t seen it, 43 Things is a unique site where people list up to 43 of their personal goals and connect with other like-minded individuals online. In less than a year, the site has built a community of 100,000 people, doing over 200,000 things, from 3,000 cities worldwide.
Come out and join us for a great conversation on building successful online communities by starting small, but thinking big.
Social hour starts at 6 PM, come down and meet all of us from Blue Flavor. We will be providing the food and drink and Keith and Matt will be working up a playlist of tunes.
Josh’s presentation will start at 7 PM. We will be meeting at Think Spot, on 1st and W. John in lower Queen Anne here in Seattle, USA.
See you on the 8th!

I’ve been looking for something just like this! The SIGCHI meets too infrequently.
See you there.
