Things are getting a bit hectic in Blue Flavorland and we’re looking for some help. We need a technologist/developer to help manage our development and production resources (as well as be those resources fairly often) and lend a hand helping the team with all kinds of interesting projects, issues, problems, etc.
Here’s the job description.
This could be a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial-type who’s looking for a fun and interesting experience. While we’ve got some specific needs here, the position will largely what the right person makes it. We’re hoping to get someone experienced, someone who’s held leadership positions and can be very versitle. One day you’ll be coding XHTML/CSS, the next helping develop a custom application, and the day after that blogging about the latest framework.
Passion, a sense of humor (you’d need it to put up with me), good communication skills and the ability to learn quickly and be versitle are more important than, say, 10 years experience. We’re looking for a family member more than an employee. Our preference would be to have someone already in Seattle, but if you fit the bill we’re willing to be open.
The pay will be decent (we’re a bootstrapped start-up but doing well), the benefits good and the company excellent. Add to that lots of opportunity to grow and the opportunity to take it almost anywhere you can think of. Help grow the business and you’ll be duly rewarded, etc. Sounds good right? We’re hoping so.

“Strong understanding of W3C accessibility guidelines”
Wait, is that even <em>possible</em>?
Eric — You know, you’ve got a point there. Consider it rephrased.
