The Iconfactory are in the midst (as of the time of this post) of redesigning their site. As their preparing for the big launch they’ve got some amazingly clever animations on their homepage that kind of document their process. If you’ve not see them, head on over and check them out.
What’s great about this is that they’re done in such a way as to be very engaging to their target audiences. There are references to web standards, World of Warcraft, data normalization, etc. All things their customers will probably get. AND they’re showcasing their pixelicious work at the same time!
If nothing else it’s helped spread the work that they’re up to something new and big and that’s never a bad thing. I know I’m excited to see what’s underneath the tarp!
Further proof that creative Marketing is what it’s all about. Hmmm…I should right an article about that or something ;)
