Installing Rails on OS X Update

March 7th, 2007 at 10:04 a.m.

The office is abuzz trying to tie up client work and get ready for SXSW. This is my first trip down to Austin and it’s safe to say I’m stoked. I was reading through a couple of my past blog posts here on Blue Flavor and noticed that one of them could use an update. I’m a little late on this but just in case you missed it the Ruby on Rails whiz and multi-talented Dan Benjamin has updated his Rails OS X build instructions getting you “leaner, meaner Rails install in less time using fewer steps.” I’m particularly glad to see the inclusion of Subversion since often online Rails tutorials out there recommend using it. Hope to see a lot of you down in Austin! I’ll be the tall guy.
