We’re all pretty excited around the office that the new SXSW.com is up and live.
Blue Flavor was heavily involved in the information architecture and user interface design of the new site. Nick and I completely restructured the site navigation and page layouts to increase findability and allow users to easily navigate between the different conferences, schedules and (of course) parties. A lot of this initial work from this project came out of the work that Keith and crew did with Design Eye last year. It’s cool to see them take note and make use of that great advice as well.
There were a lot of difficult challenges with such a unique conference, but these made for a particularly fun and rewarding project. Our friends at SXSW are still hard at work implementing our suggestions, so stay tuned!
A huge thanks to Shawn and Hugh for the kudos! Well done on getting the new site up.
We sure think things are a lot easier to find and we hope you do too. Go check it out!

Looking great guys, one of those projects that you always hope you can sink you teeth into. Great work.
