The WaSP Education Task Force recently announced their WaSP Curriculum Framework, which they’ve been working on since March 2008. Having joined the effort myself (though not that long ago), it is great to see the results of that work start to come to life.
…The WaSP Curriculum Framework [is] a collection of tools aiming to identify skill sets and competencies that aspiring Web professionals need to acquire to prepare them for their chosen careers, as well as resources that will help both educators and students.
The basic function of the curriculum framework is to provide a way for schools, colleges and universities to keep up-to-date with current best practices in web design, web development, information architecture, accessibility, usability and more. The framework is modular and easy to adapt to existing programs. You can read more about the WaSP Curriculum Framework on webstandards.org.

That’s a very interesting tool.
I am glad to hear about positive results and happy to know that you are also contributing to the process. It’s also excellent that the curriculum framework is going to provide a way for colleges, schools and universities to keep web design, development and more up to date.
